CUT and Welkom United in goalless draw

LEE KHOTLELE

Bloemfontein – The Central University of Technology soccer team and Welkom United played to a goalless draw in their SAFA Second Division match played at Zuka Baloyi Stadium in Welkom on Wednesday afternoon.

CUT team manager, Katleho Thakalekoala, says that the team created a lot of scoring chances but could not convert them.

“We played well. We controlled possession and created so many opportunities, but could not capitalise on them,” he told Courant Sport.

In the first round clash between the two sides, CUT beat Welkom United 3-0 in Bloemfontein.

CUT will host Dinonyana FC on Saturday afternoon in their next match at the CUT Sports Grounds.

Kick-off is at 15:00.

Second Division log is yet to be updated.
