Community invited to Sector 4 CPF meeting on safety and dumping concerns

In light of various recent incidents in Fleurdal, General De Wet, and Uitsig, the Sector 4 Community Policing Forum (CPF) invites community members to attend a meeting on Wednesday, 13 August, at the Dutch Reformed Church (3 Werda Crescent, Uitsig) from 18:00.

According to Marshall Neyschens, head of Sector 4 CPF, safety and security concerns, including illegal dumping and worries about the “Koppie,” will be on the agenda.

He encouraged residents to attend, highlighting that the meeting is an opportunity to connect with neighbours who can offer support when needed. “You don’t need to know all your neighbours. If everyone knows at least their two next-door neighbours, it can create a strongly linked community,” he said.

Residents are asked to RSVP by contacting 082 540 6991.
