The case against a Danish national, Peter Frederiksen, who allegedly stored female genital parts in his freezer, was postponed in the Bloemfontein Regional Court to 12 July. It was to finalise a Free State High Court date for the matter.

Peter Frederiksen initially faced nine charges, including the manufacturing, distribution and possession of child pornography, conspiracy to murder and bigamy. During the court appearance arrangements were made for him to be transferred to a prison in Johannesburg as his legal team is based in Gauteng.

The State had no objection.

The 63-year-old weapons dealer appeared with a second accused in the matter, Motlatsi Moqete, who stands accused of conspiring to murder Frederiksen’s wife, Anna Molise. She would have been a key witness in the case against her husband.

Frederiksen was arrested at his townhouse in Langenhoven Park in Bloemfontein in September last year.
