Even when we were dead by (our own) shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; it is by grace that you are saved.” Ephesians 2 v 4-5 (Amplified).
Grace is God’s favour and mercy which we do not deserve. One day it just dawned on me that it is all by grace. All I am and all I have is from God. A gift to show others His mercy. Although we work hard and suffer to achieve our goals, it is all in vain if not to show the wonders of our King. Our talents and gifts should be to showcase a God who by grace and mercy allows us to excel in life.
My greatest fear is to become arrogant. To think that anything I have achieved in my life was because of what I have done. It is because of what He has done for me – for us. May we be humbled every day by the knowledge that it is ALL by His grace and mercy.
