Bloemfontein crash leaves two injured

Two people were left injured when a taxi collided with a another vehicle on the M10 (Rudolf Greyling Road) in Bloemfontein on Sunday night.

According to a statement issued by Netcare 911, reports from the scene indicate that the taxi collided into the side of a light motor vehicle.

The exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events will form part of the South African Police investigation, however.

Netcare 911 says paramedics found accident debris spread over a large area of the roadway.

On investigation it was found that the driver of the car was still trapped in the wreckage with serious injuries, while the other passenger, his mother, was found to have sustained minor injuries.

Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before they transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
