The Bloemfontein Children’s Choir will embark on its tour the US and Canada later this month. The choir will honour an invitation by a very dear friend to the choir, the late Debi Weir of the Texas Girls’ Choir, and as such the tour will commence in Fort Worth with a visit to the Texas Girls. The visit will include solo performances of the Bloemfontein Children’s Choir as well as performances with the Texas Girls and possibly the Mexico Boys’ Choir, whose visit with the Texas Girls co-insides with the Bloemfontein Group.
The choir will be showcasing their overseas programme in their Farewell Concert on Sunday 5 June 2016 in the Odeion on the Campus of the University of the Free State. The concert starts at 15:30 and some refreshments will be available during the short interval. During the concert a DVD recording will also be made.
