Due to a loss of power supply on the 33KV line between Bayswater and Vaalbank South, various areas in the city will experience a power cut. According to the power utility, teams have been dispersed to assess the situation.
“The teams will have to walk to get to the location and are required to use portable ladders to repair the fault. Due to the access problems and the use of portable ladders, the time estimated for restoration is 4 hours.”
Centlec apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Affected areas are as follows:
Estoire, Cold Chane, New Market, Bram Fischer Airport, Part of Olive Hill, Maselspoort DC, Tibbie Visser DC, Vaalbank South, Vallombrosa, Roodewal, and Midway.
