The ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has once more vowed to better the lives of South Africans.
Speaking at the Bloemfontein Golf Club in the Free State, Ramaphosa said the last session of the conference held in Mangaung with almost 3 000 ANC delegates from all over the country, was concluded at 03:00 this morning.
For the first time, the conference was spilt into two sessions. Ramaphosa said that the party’s focus is now placed on renewing itself and becoming the mighty force that it’s always been and serving people.
“The ANC is well geared, well prepared to take the lives of our people further and better. All that remains now is the action, the implementation, which is what we are now going to focus on. We will focus on it because the ANC is renewing itself and once the ANC renews itself and unites itself, it really becomes a formidable force. A mighty force as it has always been,” said Ramaphosa.
Meanwhile, the Mangaung pressure group made renewed calls to president Ramaphosa to dissolve the battles within the metro. The Mangaung Concerned Community’s (MCC) spokesperson, Themba Zweni said that residents are not receiving any services from the municipality as a result of internal political battles. Zweni has since called on Ramaphosa to take a tour around Mangaung to see how conditions have worsened since his last visit to the area.
