Youth Ablaze, a gospel group consisting of 18 young talented individuals from different churches in the community of Thaba Nchu, are set to release their live gospel dvd.
The group was established in 2003 by Shuping Poo, with the aim to expose their raw talent and spread the gospel of the Kingdom of God through the music, while discouraging youth from indulging in negative and criminal activities.
According to Girly Matsoso, Youth Ablaze manager, the commitment, training and skills of the group have improved over the years. “Our commitment to our craft, our audience, our investors, and the community where we spread the gospel through music, have grown immensely. We have committed ourselves to always deliver excellent, anointed and professional performances whenever and wherever we have an opportunity to minister in song,” she said.
The group has released two spiritual albums. The first one, called Atamelang Bohle, was released in 2009 and the second album was released in 2014. The group is now gearing up to record a live dvd soon.
“We are in need of sponsorship as we have challenges in marketing our work. On 4 November 2017 we will be hosting a gospel show in Thaba Nchu. The venue will be announced and people are welcome to invite us to their weddings, conferences and parties,” Matsoso said.
The group can be contacted by liking their Facebook page: Youth Ablaze Thaba Nchu, or call Girly Matsoso on 082-621-3259.
