With a passion for fashion and beauty, Nadine Barkhuizen is looking to take over the modelling and fashion industry in the City of Roses. This comes after a successful launch at Reizis Square of @Models, a modelling school that caters for everyone in the industry.
Barkhuizen hails from Pretoria, where she studied Consumer Science and Clothing Management and qualified as a fashion designer. She has been in the industry for more than 16 years and dedicates her time to help make a difference in the lives of others. She is also involved in JAM South Africa. “It remains my passion to work with young people and to make a difference wherever possible,” she says.
“To me it’s a thing of inner beauty. Beauty comes from the inside, so if you can build a strong character and you know who and what you want to be, it is going to reflect on the outside.”
@Models caters for both male and female models and believes in helping any aspiring model to reach his or her dreams. The official hashtag for @Models is #Limitless. Barkhuizen believes that the sky is not the limit and at @Models you are limitless and can achieve anything you set your mind to.
@Models will have a registration day for all new and aspiring models on Saturday, 10 February 2018, at Mimosa Mall, opposite Mug and Bean. Registrations will take place between 09:00 -12:00.
