Kitso starts his walk to freedom

A young boy's life changed tremendously on Mandela Day. The eight-year-old boy, who was prevented from ever walking after his legs had been amputated due to a medical condition when he was only five months old, received a new pair of custom-made prosthetic legs as a gift on Mandela Day. Kitso Mokolometsa's mother expressed immense joy, saying her son will now be able to experience life like all other children. The initiative was made possible by Jumping Kids organisation together with Bikers for Mandela during their visit to a local centre for people with mental disabilities last week.
