Oranje Toyota Knights Golf Day this year partnered with Lexus Bloemfontein and Hino Oranje to host a golf day that took place on Friday, 8 March 2019 at the Schoeman Park Golf Course in Bloemfontein.
As a project for 2019 and to celebrate their Toyota and Lexus Knights, the company decided to plan a charity golf event this year in aid of Thanelda Nieuwenhuys’ medical bills.
Nieuwenhuys, who was attacked by a man in December and stabbed in the heart, has huge medical expenses after the attack. “I am very grateful to Toyota for assisting and supporting me. I am also thankful for the support of every sponsor. I feel blessed and appreciated by Toyota,” said Nieuwenhuys.
According to Tamzen Strauss, Marketing & Admin Oranje Toyota Bloemfontein, all Toyota knights and staff involved on the day helped make this a big success. “In times like today it is important to stand together as a community and to show all the rest how beneficial it is to support each other,” said Strauss.
