The satellite-based free-to-air television service, OpenView HD, recently launched Platco Digital which is set to provide a platform to broadcast radio stations OFM, Gagasi FM and Heart FM, among others.
During their visit to three cities, which included Durban and Cape Town, marketing manager at Open View HD, Shalamar Zandamela, said this is an exciting time for them because of the expansion of services. Including radio stations in Central South Africa is a great initiative.
Furthermore, content that will be added is guided by costumer research to ensure that the channels are in line with the target audience’s viewing patterns.
The platform offers viewers 19 entertainment channels in a number of languages, including English, Zulu, Afrikaans and Hindi.
