Mangaung mayor promises budget turnaround

Mangaung Metro Municipality (MMM) executive mayor Cllr. Gregory Nthatisi, addressing residents during the State of the City Address (SOCA) at the Bloemfontein City Hall today, said the municipality will table a fully funded 2026/2027 Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework (MTREF) Budget aimed at improving service delivery across the metro.

Nthatisi said the budget prioritises the needs of residents and focuses on addressing long-standing service delivery challenges in Mangaung.

“Issues of service delivery will take prominence. I believe this budget will turn things around for the residents of Mangaung,” he said.

He added that the municipality has listened to the concerns raised by communities and respects the input received from residents during the consultation process.
