Engen Petroleum representative, Benny Thobejane, says the Engen Pitch & Polish workshops recently held in Mangaung forms part of a national programme aimed at empowering aspiring entrepreneurs with business skills.
Speaking at an entrepreneurial workshop held in Bloemfontein yesterday, hesaid various businessmen and women from different sectors came together to teach and advise upcoming entrepreneurs on how to compile business plans and on how to pitch their ideas.
He says these workshops will greatly benefit entrepreneurs in Bloemfontein and neighbouring areas.
Thobejane adds entrepreneurs who come up with innovative business ideas out of these workshops are selected by the Engen Petroleum and offered further assistance to implement their ideas and keep their establishments sustainable.
