Charity does not need a specific day for the Goody2Shoes organisation that will on 30 July host a 67 minutes colour event as part of their Mandela Day celebrations this year.
This will take place at Rekgonne Primary School in Bloemfontein where learners will have the opportunity to take part in activities and receive school shoes and stationery.
According to Mthunzi Ndlela, the chairperson of Goody2Shoes, learners will be colouring in tear sheets of Nelson Mandela and other designs.
“We have identified Rekgonne Primary school as a deserving school for our 67 minutes of Mandela because they have contributed immensely in education to the communities of Mangaung over the years. Our programme will be a token of appreciation and recognition,” he said.
The programme is set to start at 10:00 at the school.
