Department of Labour set to create 700 000 jobs

The minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, in collaboration with the Free State premier, Mxolisi Dukwana, will be launching a labour activation programme that is set to create thousands of employment opportunities in the province.

According to a statement released jointly by the department and the office of the premier, the minister and premier are set to launch 13 labour activations at the Kopano Nokeng Lodge on 22 April 2024 from 08:00.

The session will take place as a media breakfast session where the national roll-out plan to create more than 700 000 employment opportunities across the country will be discussed.
