While the Toyota Cheetahs rugby players are on tour, the women in their lives are steadily keeping their homes together. One of the places where the wives and girlfriends of these sport stars have collectively assisted with renovations over the past few weeks, is the Sunflower House of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice at the National Hospital in Bloemfontein.
The group of women will commit their time and effort to refurbishing the Sunflower House over the next two weeks.
The ladies adopted the hospice at the beginning of the year as part of their seasonal community outreach project. Sunflower House provides care to 14 terminally ill children.
The renovations include painting the walls, replacing the floors and ceilings, and installing new cupboards.
