According to information the Hawks are currently raiding two Free State government departments simultaneously.
Information received by OFM News suggests that the offices of the Free State Premier, Ace Magashule, and the offices of the Provincial Department of Agriculture have been shut down as police officers are seizing computers and files.
No further information on the operation is available yet. Early reports suggest that the raid forms part of an investigation into the controversial multi-million rand Vrede Dairy Project from which millions were allegedly syphoned off to pay for the much-publicized Gupta wedding at Sun City.
The raid comes just a day after the terms of reference for the Commission of Inquiry in State Capture have been published.
