Eunice High School: Public speaking
Eunice High School’s Danielle Grobler came first nationally at the South African Literacy Association’s Grade 10 Public Speaking competition. She did this with a perfect 100% score for her speech titled ‘Keeping up with Whoever’.
Eunice Primary School: Squash
The Eunice Primary School U13A squash team was one of nine that participated in the Winter Squash League. They were crowned winners of the league, while the U13B team finished in fourth place.
Grey College Primary: Athletics
KG Nghonyama, a Grade 7 learner at Grey College Primary, attended the Free State Athletics prize-giving ceremony in Bethlehem, where he was honoured with the SP Barkhuizen trophy for his excellent athletics season and participation at the South African Schools Athletics Championships.
Hoërskool Jim Fouché: Atletiek
Twee atlete van die Hoërskool Jim Fouché, Franzelle Barnard en Anri Rautenbach, het toekennings ontvang vir hul uitstaande atletiek-vermoëns. Franzelle ontvang ’n goue medalje vir haar prestasies in o.15-hoogspring en insluiting in die Cosassa-span. Anri is gekies as lid van die Sascoc-hoogspringspan vir die Afrika Jeugspele in 2025.
