Netcare 911 received a call for a vehicle that rolled on the N1 south in Shellyvale, Bloemfontein, yesterday afternoon.
Reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle veered off the roadway onto the gravel and rolled several times. Exact detail to the cause of the crash, however, is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicle at the side of the roadway. A man and a woman was found to have sustained serious injuries.
After medics treated them at the scene, they transported them to a specialised hospital in Bloemfontein for the care that they required.
