The time has finally arrived for the Moments concert and the excitement could be felt miles away this morning when cast members met up at the Greenside Nursery in Langenhoven Park. Cast members who met for a quick breakfast courtesy of Greenside Nursery filled the gardens with pure happiness as it felt like a little family reunion.
Moments which will be taking place tomorrow at the Odeion Theatre on the main campus of the University of the Free State at 14:30 and 19:30, is said to be a show like no other. According to musical director, Ellané Kotze, Bloemfontein can expect big things and prepare themselves to experience something they have never experienced before.
One of the cast members Jennifer Jones, who has been in the singing industry for more than 32 years and who was previously nominated for a Grammy award told Bloemfontein Courant that she is happy to be back and totally in love with the city.
“I love Bloemfontein and the people, I feel like every year we do Moments something new is being born in the city. The people that live in the city have been included in the show and it is important to include them and Willie did a great job with that. I was personally challenged again as I will be performing a song in Italian as well as an original with On-Que,” said Jones.
