Tsoseletso and Karabelo dominate Mangaung Metro table tennis team

Bloemfontein – Tsoseletso High and Karabelo Primary Schools dominate the Mangaung Metro Table Tennis team set to represent the Mangaung Metro at the Free State Schools selection trials. The team, which comprises 20 players, was selected at the table tennis trials held at the Batho Community Hall recently.

Mangaung Metro includes Bloemfontein, Thaba Nchu and Botshabelo, and each town came with 20 players to the selection trial. Twenty spots were filled by Bloemfontein only.

The team comprises 10 players from Tsoseletso High and six from Karabelo Primary. The other four are from Legae Intermediate, Batho Primary, Petunia Secondary and Kaelang High schools.

The provincial selection trials will take place in Welkom on 13 September 2014, where a team to represent Free State at the nationals in Pretoria later this year will be selected.

The team to represent Mangaung Metro in Welkom:

Boys under 13:

Tshepo Moticoe (Legae Intermediate), Tebogo Nyokong (Tsoseletso High), Katlego Mochachamise (Karabelo Primary), Olebogeng Mashwabi (Batho Primary) and Katlego Poonyane (Tsoseletso High).

Girls under 13:
Naledi Sibinane, Lesedi Serasengwe, Rethabile Mofolo, Keabetswe Somsa and Kekeletso Makoai (All from Karabelo Primary)

Boys under 17:
Pitso Moticoe (Petunia Secondary), Itumeleng Ramothibe (Kaelang High), Kabelo Motolo (Tsoseletso High), Mpumelelo Gcanga (Tsoseletso High) and Pule Somsa (Tsoseletso High).

Girls under 17:
Thembi Toki, Mathabiso Bulane, Naledi Monosi, Bonolo Mokhobo and Thato Tshabalala (All from Tsoseletso High)
