Miss Glamorous Free State 2017 crowned

The Free State flowers, Jessica Sithole, Olorato Malotle and Bathandwa Sefumba were crowned Miss Glamorous Free State winners on 30 September 2017.
Jessica Sithole (18), first year Drama and Theatre Arts student at the University of the Free State, is the newly crowned winner of the Miss Glamorous Free State 2017 title. Planning to take over the Free State with her team, first princess, Olorato Malotle, and second princess, Bathandwa Sefumba, Sithole is making the youth her first priority.
“It was breath-taking when I was crowned queen. I saw the grooming that took place in the life of young girls in the Free State. It really touched me to see the manner in which transition and growth are happening in their life,” said Sithole.
With her new role as Miss Glamorous Free State, Sithole has made it clear that the youth are close to her heart. She and her two representatives will be focusing on empowering the youth. They are going to be tackling issues such as youth unemployment, social issues and poverty. “I feel like the youth have given up on the government as they are just sitting at home without any work. The youth should never give up. I’m proud to be part of the youth of today. We will work together for a better situation for the youth,” she concluded.
“How about we inspire ourselves and create something for ourselves and work together,” were the words of encouragement from Sithole.
