Police services affected by #Covid19

The coronavirus pandemic has affected police service delivery as infections among policemen and women continuously surge.

OFM News reports that the police station in Ventersburg in the Free State had to shut down provisionally after a member tested positive for Covid-19.  The Community Service Centre (CSC) will operate from the Detective Offices until further notice. A deep contamination and disinfection process will be implemented. Members directly affected by the incident will be informed and are subjected to Covid-19 protocols.

The Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lt.Gen. Baile Motswenyane, and the police management wish to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by this closure.
