Bloemfontein Celtic will be looking for another positive result at home when they welcome Amazulu in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) match to take place at Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium in Botshabelo on Sunday afternoon.
The match kicks off at 15:30.
Following an emphatic Nedbank Cup weekend where Celtic beat Witbank Spurs 2-1 and Amazulu were crashed 4-1 by Bidvest Wits, the focus shifts back to the league.
Siwelele will be looking to continue with their fine form at home, but they host a wounded Amazulu team that wants to put the loss to Wits behind them and return to winning ways.
In spite of the disappointments in the Cup, Usuthu have been in fine form in the league and will be looking for their third straight win.
The Durban-based side crashed Maritzburg United 3-1 before beating Polokwane City 1-0 in their previous matches.
However, they are up against a team that is as equally dangerous at home. John Maduka, Celtic manager, told Courant Sport that they would be looking to keep their great run at home.
“It is always difficult against Amazulu. They are not an easy team to play against, but we have a squad that is always capable of competing,” said Maduka.
Usuthu are two points above Celtic on the sixth spot. Celtic occupy the seventh spot, and Maduka said they want to maintain their top eight spot.
In the only match tonight, Ajax Cape Town will entertain Black Aces at Athlone Stadium. Kick-off is at 20:00.
