Young dancer flies FS flag high

This year seems to belong to Pule Paul Peter, a Botshabelo-born dancer, who has been flying the Free State flag higher and higher all across the country.

This graduate of the performing arts in Bloemfontein recently started a brand-new career in Mahikeng in North West as an artistic director of New Brighton Media and Projects.

Looking at his impressive resume, it is obvious why he is the perfect candidate for the job. He was part of Free State All-star Dance Incubator at Pacofs as well the Free State dance team that recently performed at the Macufe 20-year celebrations.

In February he was part of Thembisa Theatre Week, after which his work was showcased at the Dance Umbrella Africa 2019 at the State Theatre this past weekend.

He got to compete at the World Lyrical Dance Federation in Mpumalanga where he was selected to be part of the team which will be representing South Africa at the World Lyrical Dance Federation Competition in England on 29 July 2019.

Although Peter is ecstatic about the overseas trip, he needs the community, business sector and government to support him. He is in need of funds for flight tickets, accommodation, workshops as well as other expenses.
