Workshops to empower and upskill jobseekers


The Department of Employment and Labour’s Public Employment Services will be hosting a series of community outreach programmes from 19 to 21 June. According to the department, the purpose is to educate and inform job seekers with valuable working information.

The aim is to equip work seekers with information regarding job-hunting, making informed career decisions and pursuing the appropriate training and development opportunities.

The department further confirmed that the sessions are there to assist job seekers to enhance their career insights and boost their employability through a range of job-hunting skills programmes.

The programme will commence from 19 June, 09:00 until 15:00 at the Monotsha Tribal Office. On 20 June the programme will take place at the Environmental Centre Hall from 09:00 until 15:00.

The last workshop will take place at the Bluegumbosch Sports Ground also from 09:00 until 15:00. All these workshop sessions will take place in Phuthaditjaba.

Jobseekers are invited to bring their CV along to these workshop sessions.
