Bloemfontein – Young Stuwie White from Bloemfontein continues his fine form on the National Karting circuit. Recently the Grey College pupil took part in the third leg of the Nationals at Idubi, just outside of Pietermartizburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
Rain on the Friday made qualifying tricky, however, the young speedster still qualified first in the Junior Vortex Rok class, and then proceeded to win the race as well.
Not having his need for speed satisfied, he took part in the Rotax Max class as well, where he qualified in fourth.
His talent once again showed by finishing third in the first two races. In the third race he was unfortunately involved in an accident which prevented him from completing the race.
Thus he claimed the seventh overall spot for the day in the Rotax Max class.
White currently occupies the second spot on the Vortex Rok log and lies in a respectable fourth in Rotax Max class standings.
He next takes part in the Africa Open in the Rotax Max class on August 6, 2014 at Zwartkops in Pretoria. This event will determine the African champion, with the winner going to Spain to compete in the overall finals.
