LEE KHOTLELE
“We are taking it one game at the time, and that is what we have always been doing. It is working for us and the results are coming, so we will continue with that,” Thakalekoala told Courant Sport.
“We have experienced disappointments in some matches thus far; losing and drawing matches we should have won. However, we are working on consistency, which seems a problem” he added.
CUT will be looking for their second successive derby victory when they host Bloemfontein Young Tigers on Saturday, 10 May 2014.
However, Thakalekoala said it would not be a walk-over as Tigers are a good team; therefore, they should be granted the respect they deserve.
“They are a good side. They defeated us (3-2) in Botshabelo in the first round and we would be looking do to the same,” he said.
“So it is not going to be easy, as it is never easy playing against a side that is on the same mission as you are; to maintain the top four spot.
“However, we’re anticipating a good match,” he concluded.
Goals from Orapeleng Manapole and Thabo Moleko guided CUT to an emphatic 2-0 win over Celtic Colts at Old Brebnarian Club Stadium on Sunday.
“We are happy with the performance of the players. We can only improve going forward and taking the positives out of each play we play.”
The match at Central University of Technology Sport ground gets underway at 15:00.
