Virginia police station temporarily closed


The Virginia police station in the Free State has temporarily been closed due to Covid-19 related cases.

Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, says that the Virginia Community Service Centre (CSC) will operate from the Detectives building located in Civic Street. Makhele adds that the station will undergo decontamination and that affected members will be subjected to the obligatory Covid-19 related protocols.

The community will be informed once the station is operational.

Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Lieutenant General Baile Motswenyane wishes to apologise for any inconveniences due to the closure.
