Top Free State amateur and Grey College pupil, Attie van Wyk, will seek to maintain his dominance of the Glacier Junior Series’ Bloemfontein tournament when he tees it up at Bloemfontein Golf Club this Sunday.
Van Wyk has made this tournament his own over the years.
He won the event in 2012, 2013 and 2015 to become the first player in the Glacier Junior Series’ history to win the same tournament three times. And now he’ll be looking to become the only player with four wins in a single tournament on the series.
The field also includes Wilco Nienaber and Leander Snyman, who along with Van Wyk were part of the Free State Under-19 team at the 2015 Inter Provincial Teams Championships.
