The Bloemfontein Celtic Under 19 team’s title aspirations suffered a serious setback following a 2-0 loss at the hands of Super Sport United in the semi-final of the on-going 2014 SAFA under 19 Championships.

Siwelele made the semi-finals after beating Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga and will now face Free State, who lost 3-1 against Ajax Cape Town in the other semi-final, in the 3rd/4th place play-offs this afternoon.

The match started at 15:30.

Elsewhere, United beat Limpopo, Western Cape and Eastern Cape 2-0 to make the semi-finals and will face the Capetonians in the final on Thursday, 01 May 2014.

The tournament, which is happening at the Clive Solomon Stadium in Heidedal, started on Sunday, 27 April.
