The University of the Free State has announced that the December 2021 graduation ceremonies will be presented face to face in the Callie Human Centre on the Bloemfontein Campus from 8 to 13 December 2021.

According to a statement by the university, unlike previous on-campus graduation ceremonies and for logistical purposes, all ceremonies will be held on the Bloemfontein Campus. “The university reserves the right to amend the graduation programme should there be any changes in the national lockdown levels,” read the statement.

Due to Covid-19 regulations and the capacity constraints of the venue, the following applies:

  • Only graduands may attend the ceremonies in the Callie Human Centre; no guests will be allowed.
  • One guest may attend the live streaming of the ceremony in a separate venue on campus.

Ceremonies will be conducted in adherence to all Covid-19 protocols and regulations.
