UFS student Thato Mosehle, who won Miss Supranational South Africa 2020 as a finalist of the Miss South Africa pageant, will leave for Nowy Sącz, Poland on 4 August 2021 to take part in the 12th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant.
Mosehle will be the first beauty to compete in the international competition under the official banner of the Miss South Africa Organisation.
Not only is Mosehle Miss Supranational South Africa 2020, she is also a doctor by profession. According to a press statement by the Miss South Africa Organisation, Mosehle feels honoured and proud that she gets to start the Miss Supranational legacy under the Miss South Africa Organisation banner.
She is also looking forward to represent South Africa to the best of her ability. ”I am also thrilled to explore Poland as I’ve never been there, as well as to meet like-minded women from all across the world.”
Mosehle’s national costume has been inspired by an African warrior princess with elements of her Sotho culture and heritage incorporated. The costume is designed by the owner of Scalo Designs, Sello Medupe. Her day wear outfits come from Willet Designs Couture, Malondie, Sheriff Taylor, Ernst Schutz and Juan William Aria. Her evening gowns are particularly meaningful to her.
The details on where to watch the pageant, will be released on the official website and social media pages of the Miss South Africa Organisation.
