The Tseki police need community assistance finding the suspect(s) who murdered two people at a guest house in Tseki Village, Qwaqwa.
According to police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring, it is alleged that on 3 August at around 03:30, the security guard was on duty at the guard room when he heard gunshots at the guest house and went to inspect.
“In the room, he found the bodies of a 35-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman in a pool of blood. The police were informed of the incident and attended to the crime scene,” said Mophiring.
Mophiring added that the one deceased sustained gunshot wounds to the hands, arms, and face, while the other sustained wounds to the head, arms, and shoulders.
“The deceased were identified by security guards, but not yet by their families. The motive behind the killing is not yet known. A case of murder is being investigated,” said Mophiring.
