Two FS police stations temporarily closed

The Bothaville and Excelsior police stations in the Free State have been temporarily closed after members tested positive for Covid-19.

The stations will be decontaminated for the duration of the closure in order to curb the spread of the virus. The affected members will be subjected to the necessary Covid-19 related protocols.

According to a statement by the police, the community who makes use of the Bothaville police station should for the time being use the conference hall next to the police station.

They are also advised to report emergencies to the following numbers: Station Commander: 071 683 8132,

Vispol Commander: 082 466 7923 or the Detective Commander: 082 466 7923/073 433 6679.

The Excelsior SAPS will work from number 11 Brebnar Street. For any complaints or enquiries Warrant Officer Ntatakazi Ntlele can be contacted at 082 466 8285/ 082 466 7916.

The community will be informed once the stations are operational again.
