Twice a creative

Born and raised in Botshabelo, Tshediso Kenneth Mokhachane, also known as Malome Lex, is an artist of many talents. The musician and designer has his roots firmly planted not only in his community, but also in his various crafts.

According to him, “it all started when I was in high school in 2015, when I was working with Tronix Studios, that’s where I learned music production and graphic design”.

He also told Bloemfontein Courant “my love for art comes from a deep passion within me”. Malome Lex further explained that his favourite form of expression is his graphic design. “It allows me to combine creativity and technical skills,” he said.

“My passion lies in branding, typography, and digital art, as they offer endless possibilities for innovation and self-expression.”

His inspiration comes from working with other artists. “Working people like Ntate Stunna, AfroToniQ, Troy M, Deejay Zaca, and Katleho Mabote, is what keeps me inspired,” he explained. “It shows how well my work is recognised.” Moving forward, Malome Lex is hoping to work with more artists and club owners.

“My goal is to create visually stunning and effective designs,” he said, “and also collaborating with like-minded designers and artists to learn and grow.”

The artist believes there is power in collaborating with his local community while supporting those around him.

He has performed in and around his hometown as well as around the Free State.

Malome Lex is active on his social media pages, including Facebook and Instagram. His music is also available to stream on Apple Music, as well as Soundcloud.
