The top five political parties in the #Elections2024 have become clear with less than 1% of votes to be tallied.
According to the IEC’s NPE results system, the ANC is the leading party in the country with 40.17% support, compared to 57.5% in 2019. The system further shows that the DA follows the ANC with 21.82%.
The MK party is officially the third biggest party in the country with 14.59% support, while the EFF drops to fourth with 9.49% of votes, slightly lower than the 10.8% they received in the last election. IFP rounds out the top five with 3.86% of the total votes at this stage.
