Three champs represent The Pony Academy

Three young riders from Bloemfontein’s The Pony Academy have recently returned from the South African National Equestrian Schools Association’s (Sanesa) National Championships in Gauteng. Marli Louw, riding Bumbleberry, and Lené Steyl, riding Lady Rose, competed in the Newcomers Challenge (Level 0) and Stephanie Oosthuisen, riding Sun Fairy, in the Core League (Level 1) as a member of two of the FS teams. It was the very first national championship for all these ponies and riders. Most classes had between 20 and 70 riders competing. Marli managed a gold and bronze. Lené received two golds, while Stephanie received a bronze. All riders are coached by Jani Oelofse at The Pony Academy. The ponies are also trained and owned by The Pony Academy.
