From selling shoes from the boot of his car, to owning one of Mangaung’s best known men’s clothing boutiques, Erland Adams is a well-known businessman whose shop is blooming in the City of Roses.
Being viewed as a go-getter, Adams has proved to be successful means to combine business sense and hard work.
Adams, who comes from humble beginnings in his business career, started out by selling “Wabakies”, a popular shoe brand. He started his business venture about 13 years ago when he started selling shoes from his car’s boot and at his home in Heidedal. His big dream was to own his own boutique.
From selling handbags and shoes from his car’s boot, this entrepreneur progressed to owning a stall in the Middestad Centre. He is currently the proud owner of Kasi Fleva in Mimosa Mall, together with his son, Erland Adams Junior.
Kasi Fleva opened its doors to the public in 2016 and started out as a small store, which has since doubled in size. “We are still growing bigger day by day and we are grateful for all the support we get from our clients and the community,” Adams said.
Kasi Fleva has a range of brands available for all special occasions and is home to local brands and products to help upcoming entrepreneurs build their brand. “At Kasi Fleva we believe in the development of local entrepreneurs and providing a platform for locals to grow and sell their products in our store,” Adams added.
“We are not only here for business but also to help and serve people. We are not just taking from people, but we are giving back to people.”
Adams also told Bloemfontein Courant that the team at Kasi Fleva often provides great deals such as giving away free ties, pocket squares, lapel pin sets and other products with certain product purchases.
With a new bigger store in Mimosa Mall, choosing the right outfit for a wedding, matric farewell or any special occasion has become easier with the friendly help of Kasi Fleva. The new state-of-the-art store design inspires customers to dress like gentlemen in tailor cut suits or even the latest hip streetwear, easier than ever at Kasi Fleva. – Pierce van Heerden
