Tshepo Khumalo, a music producer from Thaba Nchu who goes by the name ZIDDO, is set to release his EP on 11 June 2021. The EP is titled “Isphuzo”.

“The project is titled “Isphuzo” because the tracks on the EP will attack like a good drink,” Tshepo says, explaining the title.

He explains the aim for the EP as “to ensure I share music that is going to be jammed to for a long”. The EP includes all specs of the buzzing Afro house music and it will released under Seres Produçoes. Tshepo says he started his career in 2018, however, he released his first single, “Dear Marcia” in 2019 under Diptorrid Recordings. “Growing up as a musical person, I have always been curious about how it is created and the impact it has on people’s lives. Even today I am still feeding my curiosity regarding it,” he added. He has decided to take a route in Audio Engineering and Sound Design because of how fascinated he was about how sound is designed.

In his music career years, he has released a few songs, including 15 official releases (along with collaborations).  He explains his love for music as something he has had since he was little. “My love for music began when I was very young. Whenever my mother went to church choir rehearsals, I’d tag along until I started taking part in the church choir and also in the school choir. I could say, my mother made me love music.”

Tshepo adds, “My dream is to become one of the most recognised Afro Tech/House DJ and producer. I want to bring musical value to my hometown and also revive society’s love for music, this is the force that drives me.” The young musician’s music can be streamed on major music platforms.
