Bloemfontein. – The four suspects arrested on Thursday for the abduction and killing of Tony Teixeira from Welkom, will appear in court today.
Police in the Free State made a breakthrough on Thursday in apprehending four suspects. Teixeira’s body was found in Virginia on Wednesday, after he was abducted from his Welkom home in the early hours of last Thursday, before he was robbed of household goods, cash and his vehicle.
Teixeira’s body was discovered by a security guard with his hands and feet tied and gunshot wound to the head.
Police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng, says they managed to arrest four suspects and that the investigation is at a sensitive stage

“We cannot reveal more than the confirmation of the arrests,” Thankeng said.
