Talitha Cumi House of Safety is calling on businesses to join in on their second annual golf day on 5 August.

The aim is to raise funds for the care of the children, and to complete five houses that will become the children’s village. The five houses will accommodate eight children each, and hopes are to open the first two soon.

“We would like to bring awareness in our community about Talitha Cumi safe haven and wish to establish long-lasting partnerships with organisations to enable us to continue to reach out to the community,” said Loraine Gregorini, a volunteer.

They will be selling holes on the golf course to businesses. These businesses can place their own advertising and promotion boards at the holes. The prices of holes range between R5000 and R6000. Those wishing to take the wet holes will be responsible for supplying non-alcoholic drinks on the course.

Sponsors can also chip in on the opportunity of offering lunch, dinner and goodie bags. Talitha Cumi is further appealing for donations for the auction that will be held at the cocktail dinner and prize-giving.

Sponsors are also being sought for the snacks and drinks on the golf course, as well as the prizes. For more info or to assist, contact Samuel Vermaak on 064 680 9080 or email samvermaak@crc.org.z
