A Grade 11 learner from Bloemfontein has proven that her opinion on global issues – such as migrants and xenophobia, terrorism and the international criminal court – matters, after having talked her way into the final round of the United Nation’s debating competition. Keasha Masuabi, a learner at St. Michael’s High School, has been chosen to represent South Africa in New York early next year. She believes the key to success is hard work and thorough research.
