Suspects arrested for business robbery in Bloemfontein

Three men aged between 27 and 60 were arrested yesterday in connection with a business robbery that happened in Langhovenpark in Bloemfontein in the Free State.

Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele says it is alleged the suspects held the business owner and the employees at gun point and stole an undisclosed amount of money, two cellphones worth R18 000 and two watches worth R32 000.

Makhele says the Bainsvlei SAPS, K9-unit, Flying Squad and Trio Crime Watch worked together to ensure the suspects were captured.

As it stands, one other suspect has evaded arrest. The police are asking community members to come forward with information that may lead to his aprehension.

Meanwhile the three suspects will remain detained.
