Suspect wanted for theft of motor vehicle

Kimberley’s Vehicle Identification and Safeguarding Unit (VIS Unit) appeals to the public to assist in identifying the woman appearing on the provided photo.

Police spokesperson, Olebogeng Tawana, said the woman is wanted in connection with a case of theft of a motor vehicle in Kimberley.

“It is alleged that on the 23rd of June this year she stole a vehicle from Kimberley under falls pretense. She is in possession of a fraudulent identification document, in the name of Hilda Olga Lepule, and continues to make transactions and close business deals with that identity document. Many businesses, retailers and individuals may possibly become or already are the victims of this woman.”

Police appeal and request the public to assist them with information regarding her whereabouts or any information that might assist with their investigation to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Lesley, at 053-807-9520/082-495-4583.

Tawana says the investigation continues.
