The South African Police Services (SAPS) in the Free State received a complaint at Park Road from someone close to the Stadium Swimming Pool on Friday 26 April 2024. The police found the 26-year-old Jesse Seekoei, who lived in Dan Pienaar, lying in a pool of blood.
According to SAPS spokesperson, Lieutenant Thabo Covane, a case of murder has been opened and is still being investigated at the Park Road Police Station.
“The paramedics were already at the scene and they indicated that the victim died because of a loss of blood from the stab wound on his upper left chest,” Covane confirmed.
The police are urging any members of the public who might have information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect, to urgently contact Captain David Ramasoala at 082-468-1624, the information can be submitted on the MySAPS App, or call the SAPS Crime Stop number: 08600 10111.
