Stock thieves arrested in Bloemspruit

Police recovered ten sheep and arrested four men, aged between 24 and 65, after following up on information regarding stock theft in Bloemspruit.

The arrests occurred in Sunday 11 August at around 08:30, after SAPS members reacted to information regarding possible stock theft in the Bloemspruit area.

“A suspected vehicle, a Toyota Tazz, was pulled over and in the vehicle, police found two sheep in the boot of the vehicle and one on the passenger seat,” stated police spokesperson Capt. Lorraine Earle.
