St Andrew’s School yesterday held its Sandwich challenge for Madiba Day at the school.
The school planned to prepare 27 000 sandwiches in an hour for the less fortunate, but ended up preparing 30 000 sandwiches instead.
The school asked the boys to donate 1kg tubs of smooth peanut butter and bread. The class that donated the most will be treated to a breakfast at the Wimpy with principal, Chris Thomas.
St Andrew’s donated the sandwiches to various charities in the Metro where under Towers of Hope and the Christian Revival Church (CRC).
Well-done boys, you’ve made Bloemfontein proud!
